San Bernardino, California - Washington Produce is proud to support a local effort to enhance the environment in the city of San Bernardino. City officials and volunteers today planted 56 trees in 4 city parks in San Bernardino for the "50 Trees To Cool Your Summer Breeze" city project.. Each of these trees will remove one ton of carbon dioxide (CO2) from the air each year! And of course, they will make the parks a better and prettier place for everyone in the city. 56 teams made up of 4 volunteers each were involved in today's event. Washington Produce donated a generous box of delicious fresh fruits to each team.
Washington Produce has supported numerous local organizations and events in the Inland Empire for almost two decades. We are proud of our accomplishments as well as that of other local groups and individuals who work hard and volunteer their time for a cleaner environment and safer community.
